10 Things You DON’T NEED to Get Your 1st Paying Client
The truth is you could get a client tomorrow, or even TODAY!
But what stops us from that is thinking we need to be and appear “more professional.” The truth is our clients care about results and far, far less about our online presence.
Here’s what you DON’T Need:
A website
To post on social media 5/week
1,000 IG followers
A YouTube channel or podcast
A client management system
An email list
A logo
A FB group
A signature system
A complete onboarding system
Your clients really don’t care about those things; they care about getting results and solving their problem.
I’ve never had a Coaching client tell me they really wanted to work with me, but because I don’t have a FB group or a podcast, they can’t.
That’s just our brains telling us that to keep us safe and from “putting ourselves out there.”
But the actual confidence comes from working with clients!
So if your goal is to gain confidence, clarity, clients, and cash flow as quickly and as simply as possible, you really only need 3 things to get a client TODAY:
1. Ability to take a client’s payment (I recommend Stripe)
2. A problem you help solve
3. The price your client pays you to help solve their problem
That’s it.
The rest of it is overthinking…
Overcompensating…
And stuff you can build along the way, once you know you’re niche and have a clear offer.
But it starts with simply working with clients. That’s where confidence and clarity are born.
