How do you answer this question, "How's your day going?"

Have you ever walked past a colleague in the hallway and asked how she was doing and her response was, “Busy?” Or you ask a friend how their day has been and they respond with “Good, but busy!”

How do you answer this common question? Chances are you haven't given it much thought, but I bet you will start to notice now.

These seem to be common responses nowadays to the “how are you doing?” question. It’s almost worn like a badge of honor; the belief being that the busier you are, the seemingly more successful, popular, in demand, or productive you are.

But is this really true?

And at what cost?

With our fast-paced, multi-tasking society today, it seems we are nearly all overworked, overwhelmed, and exhausted just trying to keep up.
